Shiites to pull out of Government if Bush meeting goes ahead

A Shiite Bloc has threatened to pull out of the Iraqi government if Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki meets with President Bush in Jordan next week.

A spokesman for the Shiite Bloc is quoted as saying we are killed by the insurgents by day and by the Americans at night. He went onto to say they considered Bush a criminal.

After the car bombs from Thursday which has left more than 200 dead, Sunni mosques in central Iraq were today shot at and burned. The latest reports are that Sunni men have been grabbed as they came from prayers and burnt to death.

Additionally American soldiers are said to have killed four passengers on a minibus in Baghdad.

Surely it is time for Tony Blair and George W. Bush to go!
