you got killed – hard luck!

You got killed, maimed, lost a child, or wife, father or mother, your friends or relations, your whole family, had your home and life destroyed – well hard luck (and join the rest), that’s the way it goes!

It’s not our fault the militants are using you as a shield, we will have to kill you anyway; it’s not our fault the militants are hiding in your village, your house, we will have to bomb it, or blow it up, and you and your wife and children with it anyway!

Too bad that’s just the way it goes in war!

What war? Well the war we are fighting against the terrorists, militants, Taliban!

But this is not your country! Too bad, we decided we were coming, we decided you needed us, we decided that this evil had to be stamped out, we decided!

Who decided! Well Washington and London and we managed to get those others involved, NATO and all the rest, be grateful it’s in your own interest.

But you’re killing us! Too bad, and what does a few casualties matter in the greater picture, we have to do this!

But there were no militants in our houses, in our villages when you bombed our houses, and killed our children, our wife’s and wiped out our families! Too bad, that’s the way war is, anyway we know the militants were using you as shields, they are always using you as shields when you civilians get killed, it’s always the militants fault when something like that happens. It’s more important that we kill the militants than worry about civilians getting killed, that’s just the way it is in war.

But we don’t want this war! Too bad, you have got it, Oh and by the way, General James Jones a top NATO commander has said he is sorry, stop moaning and get those children buried; we don’t want the world seeing them (or the truth)!
